As a parent at the Waldorf School of Bend, we value you as a member of our community, and we hope that you will feel that we are an extension of your family.
As a private school, we work together to meet the needs of the children. Often, we are limited on resources and we rely on the support of volunteers.
We have a suggested volunteer commitment of 40 hours per school-year, or 4 hours per month for full-time students (enrolled 4 or more days per week), 30 hours per year/3 hours per month for 3 day enrollment, and 20 hours per year/2 hours per month for 2 day enrollment. However, we understand that you have busy schedules and lives as well, and we can be creative and flexible with these hours. We hope to inspire you to be involved in the community and the school and students will benefit from your participation.
